What is Naver AI Briefing?
Naver AI Briefing is a feature that shows, at the top of Naver search results, an AI-synthesized summary answer drawn from the key information across multiple documents related to the query. Introduced in March 2025, it has spread quickly enough to account for a significant share of all searches.
How does it differ from Google AI Overviews?
Both are AI summaries at the top of search results, but Naver AI Briefing draws primarily on Korean-language content and documents from the Naver ecosystem (blogs, cafés, Knowledge-iN, and more). It uses a multi-source quick-answer format that compresses common information scattered across documents into a single answer, and it is expanding into domain-specific search such as finance and health.

To be cited in AI Briefing, a clear structure that answers the question directly, trustworthy source attribution, and recency signals matter. Exposure opportunity is large for specific long-tail queries, so a document structure aligned with the user's question context is advantageous.
