An AI Overview Monitor is an SEO/AEO intersection tool that auto-tracks how often your domain appears as a source card in Google's AI Overviews, producing an AI Overview presence KPI. It sits at the boundary between the SERP and answer engines — a surface neither pure SEO tools nor pure AEO tools fully cover on their own.
While the Featured Snippet was the SERP-box exposure before AI Overviews, an AI Overview Monitor tracks presence inside the successor surface.
